The Magnum Series
The Magnum Series is Kolbe's line of wood and aluminum clad windows that are designed for use in commercial and historical renovation projects. Each unit is built to meet the requirements and design of each individual project, guaranteeing that the windows will be precise and unique. Custom colors and finishes are possible, as well as special wood species, divided lite designs and trim. Kolbe® is known for quality workmanship, custom designs and attention to detail.
Most Magnum double hung and radius units have a 5-9/16" jamb depth as standard. These units can be made to replicate existing windows that are in need of replacement, or can express a striking design statement in a new commercial building. Certain units can be modified for high performance or even impact performance.
Radius windows can be used to add a crowning touch to double hung units or as a stand-alone transom. Full circles, half circles and quarter circles are all possible to showcase the beauty of a restoration or new construction.
Speciality windows such as Old World Classic double hungs mimic and improve on the stylings of traditional double hungs. Brass chains and pulleys draw attention to detail and history, while energy efficient H°K LoE2 insulating glass brings the unit into the modern day.
Versatile and functional, the Tilt-Turn window brings a European favorite to life. Units have the ability to be used as an inswing casement or a hopper window, all with the simple turn of a handle.
